What does my first session look like?

In your initial evaluation we will discuss your symptoms, assess your movement patterns, determine sources of symptoms and provide symptom management recommendations. We will discuss what a pelvic floor assessment would look like, if it is appropriate for you. You will leave with more knowledge and activities to help reduce your symptoms.

What does an internal pelvic floor assessment look like?

An internal pelvic floor assessment is a minimally invasive way to determine the function of your pelvic floor muscles. It is performed in a private setting by a trained physical therapist and only done with your consent. If it is not something you are comfortable with, that's ok! We can use other methods for assessment and treatment.
